If you liked "Cheetah Girls", you will love "The Cheetah Girls 2", which premiered on the Disney Channel on Aug. 25. This delightful, musical showcases the talent of four young girls who travel to Spain to participate in a talent competition. Under the direction of Kenny Ortega, the mastermind behind the blockbuster "High School Musical", there's no doubt in my mind that this movie is another hit. Raven-Symone (Galleria Garibaldi) not only stars in the movie, she also shines in her role as the movie's executive producer. The other Cheetahs are: Adrienne Bailon (Chanel), Sabrina Bryan (Dorinda Thomas), Kiely Williams (Aqua), who get caught up in different priorities and Galleria struggles to keep the group together as she feels her friends are slipping away. If you ever lost a best friend, you can empathize with the scene that confronts Galleria and Chanel's loyalty and friendship. "This is a must-see, cute, heartwarming movie." The CG2 soundtrack was released on Walt Disney Records on Aug. 15, which features 13 original songs, with my favorite "Amigas Cheetahs".
Speaking of Raven, fans of "That's So Raven", will be able to continue the adventures of the Baxter clan, when "Cory in the House" debuts on the Disney Channel this November. Kyle Massey continues his rebel ways and finds himself into a slew of trouble when his Dad is appointed the White House personal chef. Leave it to Cory to make the teens laugh.
